At first, there was probably only 20-30 bikes showed up.
Throttle Twisting Sunday (TTS) a.k.a Terrorising The Streets is on its third successful time. I still remember the first TTS with Rocket Company as its starting point, there were only a few of us rode. The numbers increased every time. And this time we managed to gather up around 300-400 bikes! Our friends from outside Jakarta such as Tangerang, Bekasi, and even Bandung; showed up, giving support, and had an awesome time on this humble ride around town.
TTS #3 sported a theme/tagline: “Sopan Di Jalan, Jangan Arogan”, which translates to English as “Be Polite On The Road, Don’t Be A Jerk”. The riders acted their best to respect other road users, obey the road signs and traffic lights, no road blocking, no sirens, and so on. Sadly, I was late for the ride and decided to catch up straight to the finish point at Kopitiam Tan, SCBD. But here are the photos that i managed to gather from friends and let these photos speak for itself:
A few bikes were also displayed at Kopitiam Tan and we had a quick talk show about local motorcycle culture and history with guest J.J. Rizal, moderated by Rizky Mandra from SSMC. TTS #3 was presented by Lawless Jakarta, Rocket Company, Swengskoy, Mas O Menos, Forstand Projekt, Thrive Motorcycles, Troupe Industry, SSMC, and Altos Company Thank you so much to everybody that came and rode together with all of us. Can’t wait for TTS #4. FTW!
